When the relationship is over, or even while it's still going, the confusion often stays.

  • You replay conversations, wondering if you were "too sensitive" or remembered it wrong.
  • You feel drawn back to someone who hurt you, and you can't understand why.
  • You find it hard to trust your own judgement, decisions or feelings.
  • You're on edge, exhausted, or numb, even when things are quiet.
  • You've lost touch with who you were before, and you're not sure how to find her again.
  • You carry shame or self‑blame for something that was never your fault.

None of this means something is wrong with you. These are understandable responses to living with fear, control and unpredictability. When you understand what was happening, the confusion starts to lift.

The question was never "Why didn't she leave?"It's "What made leaving so hard?"and "Why did he choose to abuse?"

Reclaiming You replaces shame with understanding. The ways you coped were survival responses, and they kept you going. Now they can be understood, and gently released.

Eight modules, from understanding to healing

Clear, compassionate education that helps you make sense of your experience, then supports you to heal and rebuild.

Part oneUnderstanding abuse & reclaiming your power

1

Understanding the domestic violence cycle

Why women don't leave, the cycle of abuse, and how coercive control quietly takes away your freedom and confidence.

2

The narcissistic abuse cycle

Love bombing and idealisation, gaslighting, and the FOG of fear, obligation and guilt that can keep you stuck.

3

Trauma bonds & childhood wounds

Why you may still feel pulled toward someone who hurt you, how earlier wounds shape that pull, and the cognitive dissonance it creates.

4

Taking your power back

Rebuilding you, rebuilding your boundaries, and beginning to build a future that belongs to you.

Part twoUnderstanding trauma & healing

5

What is trauma?

What trauma really is, and the many ways its symptoms can show up in your body, mind and relationships.

6

How trauma is stored in the brain

Why memories can feel so present, and why your brain and body can still react as if the danger is happening now.

7

Trauma & your sense of self

How trauma shapes the way you see yourself, your worth, and your place in the world.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to have left the relationship to do this course?

No. Women come to this course at every stage. If you are still in the relationship, please put your safety first, think about who can see your devices and browsing history, and use the Quick exit button at the top of this page whenever you need to.

Is this the same as therapy?

No. Reclaiming You is education. It helps you understand your experience and gives you tools to support your healing, but it isn't a replacement for individual therapy. If you'd like personal support with Rayma, the Recovery Package includes four private sessions.

Will the content be distressing?

The course names abusive behaviours so you can recognise them, but it never includes graphic descriptions of violence. You can pause at any time, move at your own pace, and return to any module when you feel ready.

How long do I have access?

You have lifetime access, so you can revisit the material whenever you need it.

Can I upgrade to the Recovery Package later?

Yes. Contact Rayma at [email protected] and she'll talk you through your options.

You deserve to understand what happened, and to heal from it.
